I ordered one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271226739840? ... EBIDX%3AIT

I ordered one of those specifically because it looks like the pin layout is in the same form factor and the pins are exposed. I just unpacked it however and realised that not all the pins are exposed after all so I will have to cut a small amount of the metal away with my cutters. Shouldn't be a problem.

I'm going to solder it on in a bit so i can confirm for sure if it's what you want or not a bit later tonight.

Update: Just a word of warning - that SD Card socket may not be the right one. I've soldered it on, fine as far as I know and my DE-1 will not power up with the expansion board connected now. It's late so I'll have to investigate tomorrow to see whats up.

Incidentally, if you only want 1 or 2 expansion boards, I have a couple to sell. Please see my other thread.

Martin, I saw on amibay that initially you only wanted EU buyers for the DE1 adapter PCB; thus, since I am in USA, I had 3 of the blank DE1_adapter PCBs fabricated.

Frank - I have a couple left that don't have the connectors or the 2.7K resistors. They would still need to be added, you can't use it without. I guess I could get some more parts in by now. The resistors went out of stock where I was buying them and I was only buying the connectors for the ones I actually needed.

Where are you based so I have an idea what postage is likely to be? I lost money on the last two I sent to Germany for example because someone else took them to the post office for me and they got charged for a small parcel when it should have been a letter (they were bare boards). I want to make sure I don't make the same mistake again. UK is easy though.

PS: Programming the thing is fully covered by the guides, manuals and tutorials supplied with the DE-1. It's kind of assumed that if you have an FPGA development board that it's a given you know how to program it. If you just want a re-configurable retro computer then maybe the MiniMig or Replay boards might be better?

Do you need it fully built? If so I'll have to get some more of the 2.7k resistors in.

Postage in the UK wasn't much. A pound odd, but I forget exactly. And yep, PP is fine as long as it's gift so I don't have to lost the charges.
