Edit: - SORRY I've post this in the Marketplace instead of General Discussion - Mods can you please move this to the appropiate forum?
Edit 2: version 100818 did the trick, minimig boots with ARM controller. Please lock thread!

Hi to all and sorry if this has been answered before. If it is so, please point me to that direction.

I'm having some problems upgrading my Minimig to tha ARM controller. I bought it around 2 years ago, but I have begun paying with it only recently.

My Minimig v1.1. with 4mb ram and the PIC controller works as spected.
If I replace the PIC with the ARM controller and put both the firmware.upg and minimig1.bin that are in the file in the SD card I get a red screen which reads:

Bootloader BYQ091224
FPGA core FYQ09224
Agnus ID: $00 (PAL) Denise ID: $FF
Incompatible MCU firmware

The menu button does nothing. I cannot upgrade the firmware of the ARM (I cannot acces that option becaude there is no menu)
I suppose you have to remove the PIC. put the ARM and then upgrade, that is the procedure I was trying to use.

Browsing the minimig forum, I read that there is an english ARM upgrade guide, but the source is not available.

I also see a 100818 version in the google code repository, and some searches talk of a 120420 version. Can I use those?

Any help would be appreciated.
