Hi!

I built my own Minimig ARM controller, and because of the minimum PCB order, I have four left over.

If anyone still doesn't have one, now is your chance! :)

So, 4x Minimig ARM controllers, new & tested, with latest firmware.
Price for one is 50EUR + shipping (I guess less than 5EUR for Europe, will check).
Payment by direct bank transfer (preferred) or Paypal gift (or buyer pays fees).
Will be also for sale on other Amiga-related forums later.

Enjoy!

I'm still looking for an ARM controller! Would pay a nice price for it!

I am also interested in anyone who could make a compatible alternative, for instance from this device:
https://www.olimex.com/Products/ARM/Atmel/SAM7-H256/

I'm not good at soldering and such... :( No experience.
Edit: any help would be of course rewarded with hard cash!!

Still on the lookout for a custom ARM controller? Soon I will have some free time and could take on such a project.

My idea is to use an off-the-shelf SAM7 board and make and adaptor board for fitting onto the minimig's PIC socket. (Not the Olimex one, but a slightly cheaper Chinese variant.)

Are there any other people interested in this? More interest may result in a better cost due to quantity orders.

Regards,
Edwin

For anyone looking for an alternative ARM board...

I'm working on an adaptor board that converts a standard off-the-shelf ARM board to the Minimig's PIC socket. This is a simple re-wiring adaptor, but I'm considering adding a micro or standard SD card socket to the board. This would allow full speed SD card access without soldering on the Minimig.

Are there any other options which would be desirable for such an adaptor? Also what is the level of interest in these?

Nice idea and a solution for almost anyone :)

One suggestion from me:
At this kind of mechanical load to the PIC socket, some kind of rubber bumper support from below would be very helpful. At least for all known ACube build Minimig boards with those "cheep socket".

Thanks for the suggestion :) I had not thought about those cheap and nasty IC sockets! In that case mechanical support will be surely needed.

Next task is to add an SD card with high speed modification implemented on the adaptor board. This way no soldering at all will be needed.

Again a suggestion :)
If possible make this as an option (switchable via jumper etc.) since many Minimig owner use a case and there will be no slot hole for your extra card.
Im sure a solder free high speed solution is cool, but those who need it may already have the hard fix.
