The new ARM Firmware is compatibe with the original YQ100818 and same FPGA core release.
The SB130321 FPGA core is based upon the YQ100818 and is SPI-structure compatible as well.

Means: new ATH ARM Firmwre can be used with all FPGA core files >=YQ100818 :)

Its up to the user, which ARM firmware version is most matching. Sometimes I also switch back to the original one, but I do like the free .bin (core file) selection and config load/save feature :)

Hello minimig-emu, i asked this about one month ago, but sadly you don`t answered to this. So i wanted to ask this again.

I saw, that you included one of my wishes, which i had for longer time, (joy left/right = fast scrolling) in your firmware. In the whole, i am satisfied with the newest normal firmware (version 130321) and i like the menues how they are there.

Could you integrate this fast scrolling joystick feature (left/right) also in the normal firmware? I think its only a small thing to do, because you know how it works. And when possible, please also take out this "track read error"-message, which comes in some games, like for example "DOOFUS". This message should not appear anymore, because all the games where it comes, works normally.

Only this two things, the rest can be like it was. Would be cool, when you could make this.

Unfortunately, I was unable to compile Yaqube firmware to make it work. And with the new firmware I have already did not deal with this problem. The source files for the normal and the new firmware is available. Some a nifty to handle.

Yes on this, I started to work :), but now I took time off from Minimigu. I'm going on vacation to relax and to have enough rest, about two months. Again to return to Minimigu ...

Basically I know how you mean this.
But just to make it more clear:

You can use any FPGA core file (FYQ100818 up to FSB130321) with either the original ARM firmware AYQ100818 or the new menu-graphics-style in ATH13xxxx firmware release.
The Menu will only look different at the different ARM firmware release.
The FPGA Core has no influence to the Menu graphics (except colors of its frame background and "highlighted" texts).
