Hi,
Thanks everyone here and Jan_D for the vic-20 core. Never knew the Vic-20 before...until now.
I've managed to create some core+games: galaxian, avenger, quikman. But how to attached the files? (The extension bin is not allowed?)

Thanks for your work!

Its possible to use real 1541 floppy drive via IEC bus at spare-i/o pins, too.
At least on 2MB Minimig board this works fine :)

I didn't know what and whether the IEC ports are or works ...A little reading up took care of that.
I did this as a stop gap measure to quickly appreciate the VIC-20 after watching the VIC-20 in action on Youtube.
I've made some changes to the VIC-20 source like changing from T65 to the cpu65xx and make some rams into distributed for everything to fit on chip. It's real easy for anyone to include their favorite game into the core.- 8K max.
I'll post the sources if anyone wants them. It's been too quiet in this sub forum.Thought I post something.

Yes sources, please :)
Even if VHDL is a pain for me, I will try to implement own game in the core.

Sure, I'll upload over the next few days.

Also standby for a working Colecovision : download games (.bin) at 38400 using xmodem (what?) to external ram.
Now looking for a way to soft reset to Colecovision core to the download screen and not reboot the Minimig, otherwise have to use an I/O pin for resetting the FPGA.

Vic-20 Core with embedded cart file

Source tree for Xilinx ISE 10.1.03 foundation
Should work for webpack > version 10
Goto Games - read how to.

Pardon for not cleaning up the source.
Let me know if it works for you...
