Hi, I am a new user Minimig. And also I start learn VHDL / Verilog language.
I try to prepare emulator PET2001. But it still does not work. Could someone advise me, I attach the source files.

PET2001 is from author Thomas Skibo, and is in the Verilog language. Does compilation and adaptation is in the program ISE 12.4

After running on the board Minimig, nothing has visible happens, but the LCD monitor receives a signal (640x480x60Hz).

Thanks for the advice. And I'm sorry for the very poor English.

Nice! Good to see more portings of classic computer to the Minimig board :)
I tried it right now and only get a blank black screen but V/H-Sync is working. CRT OSD point out: 60Hz and 31KHz (rounded).

First of all I would suggest to check the RESET signal. Most easy way is to route this signal to the Power LED and see how it behave.

Your english is quite good... as far as I am qualified to judge at all.

So I was enlightened, and next 8bit computer works on Minimigu. Still need to fine-tune the position of the screen, position off the left side. And also uploading programs to the PET2001.

Now I used one DCM 4433619*23/2=50,986,618.5 this working, but I would like use double DCM. For examples 4433619*17/3=25,123,841 *2=50,247,682, but this not working. Why? Can someone look at source. thanks

Thanks for the new sources and working binary :)

When I compile/synthesize my own core binary out of your sources, I get a non working one (step Place&Route take forever ;)).
CRT turn into power-save mode (no signal) and nothing is going on. Im using ISE WebPack 12.4 and get no errors at all.

@minimig_emu
Thanks for included bin file works nicely on my Minimig.

Does your core support loading taped programs over the serial port link mentioned on the linked home page of the original author?

If so how do you convert tape files to the required format and upload them to the serial port?

So far I have not been successful, but I hope that I succeed. It would this be good for the C64 or VIC20 core.

It would be an interestingness way of adding tape loading and saving support without needing to mess around with tapes. Plus as I have to Minimigs I could use the second one to send or receive the tape files rather than a PC :-)

Better use the JOY port pins to handle tape/disk IO. There already is a matching voltage and 5v>3v3 resistor present.
