Hi, I am a new Minimig user. And also I start learn VHDL / Verilog language.
My first attempt was a compilation MiniPong variation.

Hi and welcome. Im glad to have activate your account... this nickname was very natural ;)

Thanks for this new core and additional feature of Pong game :) It works well on my Minimig and 17" CRT.
The picture is shifted a bit to the left compared to Minimig display timing, but its OK.

Backup original Minimig1.bin of your sd-card.
Copy Minipong2.bin (out of archive) to sd-card root, rename it into "Minimig1.bin" and power-up Minimig.

@boing4000
I was sure that the latest PIC firmware had support for loading other cores, but anyway that worked.

@minimig_emu
Now I have 2 small issues:

1. I have the pumper set on my Minimig to output to a TV but the core ignores the jumper setting and just outputs a VGA signal, so I has not getting a picture on my TV, but it works if I connect it to a monitor :-)

2. I cant move the bat, so I take it there is no PS/2 mouse emulation so I would need an ATARI controller if I wanted to play?

There is 2 different PIC releases available.
One support loading of alternative core file and the other support shortcut Normal/Turbo switching (STRG+ALT+"+" and "-" at keypad).

Anyway even with ARM controller any other core can be load by renaming the file. Its just no OSD or media access possible.
