BTW, you can see the FPGA version on the boot screen.

If the screen disappear too fast, just hold down the PGM_RESET button of the Minimig board as soon as the power led start flashing fast. This will freez the bootloader (screen).

Maybe this core should be made the next official core FSB160214. Things like the blitter-fix, 7bitplane-fix should also find the way into the official core, i think. Like all other fixes from "BOING", "YAQUBE" and "MMrobinsonb (Gods hightone)" also found their way into the official core over the years. Also CHAOS "CIA timer fix" found the way into the official core back in time. Same should now be made with this new fixes.

Like it is now, it`s not easy to find for Minimig beginners, because the thread-title is just "Blitter line mode fix" and the title says nothing about the new core inside it and the other fixes which this core has.

And i found no new incompatibility until now. Works good with the new fixes and i think also other people have tested software in last weeks, without any incompatibility was reported here. So now we know it works and i think it would make sense, to make a new thread called something like "FSB160214 FPGA Core" and the credits for the new added things can be given to CHAOS inside the thread. And it is based on the FSB150520 core, so the history can go on with FSB160214 and also YAQUBE knows, where he can go on working, if he come back to Minimig. Otherwise the things would split in two ways, the official and an unofficial core, which is not ideal i think for integrating new updates in the future. The integrated keyboard-emulation can be turned-on or off, so it has no negative influence on people which dont like it. Because they can simply turn it off. So i see no problem here.

Or what other users think about it?

And KOLLA, your Minimig has an ARM-controller, right? Then i recommend to use "Firmware ASB140501" together with this new core here. Works very good here on my Minimig.

When I find some time and mood, a new release will come.
It could take a while. Thanks for patience.

Yup, mine is "maxed out" and I use ASB140501 too. The Minimig is very snappy and extremely compatible, only wish there was a way to solder on more FastRAM ;)
