Hi,

here is a new FPGA release FSB120420 with following feature/fixes:
- Audio DAC problem fixed (as released before with some testings), thanks TobiFlex!
- Sprite fix at right display border (Coppermaster demo)
- Better AR3 (ActionReplay MK3) handling at Turbo mode, thanks Herzi!
- Floppy step sound inactive when no disk is inserted (hardware NoClick)
- minor changes to OSD at scanline mode.

All former fixes are included as well.
This core does not support Dockingstation! The sources and releases was too confusing. If necessary I will make another core supporting Dockingstation.

This core still works together with PIC and ARM 100818 firmware release.

Package includes sources and Minimig1.bin core file.

Have fun :)

Excellent to see more development going on :)

Incidentally, is there a public repo somewhere that has the latest source changes? Yours and/or NewAmigaUser's from A1K? (The Google code repo doesn't seem to have been updated since 2010, and I see there's also a SourceForce page, which I presume is yours? ;) )

Yes I do own the Sourceforce "Minimig Amiga" page.
Problem is its handling. If you know how to manage sources there, I would be glad.
Im also willing to add more developer for upload ability.

Do you think I can use this FPGA bin with the BYQ100413 PIC firmware ?? :-(

Bxx is an indicator of Bootloader release.
PIC actually has a Pxx as first latter.
Bootloader version is a part of the FPGA core and should not be a critical matter.

So if you have PIC firmware PGL100818 "installed", this core will work for you.

I have been testing this new release and I got these conclusions:

-"Batman: The Movie" now works :)

-There are still audio problems in GODS: the high-pitch sound is lower now, but it can be audible if you put up your speakers or headphones volume. I tried both methods and same problem is there.
To reproduce it, you just have to jump against a low ceiling.

-There are still missing samples in Gauntlet III tittle song. This is (strangely) partially fixed in TURBO mode. The same song can be played in Deliplayer, for example, and then it sounds fine.

thanks, Boing4000! :)

I will have a look at the Gods sound (again...). Until now even with a spectrum analysis there was no high or loud noise to detect.
Sure, if one crack up the volume, all kind of noise will appear. At least it is better now, also the permanent 15KHz noise is gone.

I don't have a fix for the Gauntlet3 and Speedball2 sound issue (possible interrupt timing matter).
As soon as there is a working solution, it will be implemented and released.

So there is no risk if I have a less than 100818 PIC firmware ?
I will just get a non compatible firmware message ?
