Hello,

Haven't been using my Minimig (2.0 / ARM) for a while, and decided to upgrade the firmware to the latest (?), ASB140501 (had something 13xxxx). Update went fine, but it refused to boot my HDF on the SD-card, so I reverted back to one of the older I had a previous download of (ATH130424), which now boots the HDF.

Now, whenever I try to update, I get "Invalid update file!" for every version I have tried. This old firmware seems to work fine with the latest (?) core FSB150520, but I would like to have the latest firmware, and be able to boot the HDF..

Seems like ATH130424 is known (at least from one other user) to refuse update files..

So.. what is the latest available firmware (and a few older versions to try) for the ARM, and how do I update (probably using that SAM-BA tool) to a version that can boot HDF ?

/PeO

ATH firmware supports HDF without RDB/RDSK header.
The original AYQ and my ASB firmware need the RDB/RDSK header as any real Amiga do.

If you want to use the newer ASB firmware, the HDF content need to be copied to a new one prepared with HDToolbox.

Found after some random searching (not within the forum, because searching for "SAM-PROG" does not return any hits) instructions on how to reflash the firmware using SAM-PROG:

Using the simple instructions in the second reply (on page 4), I was able to update the Minimig to the current firmware.
