Hello,

Even if Boing4000 has already validated my registration, I just wanted to introduce myself :-)

Proud owner of an AmigaOne G4 1,26 Ghz with AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4, I've always be willing to get a Classic miggy (for gaming and watching demos and have a real 68000 CPU).

So I'v just bought a Minimig + ARM controller and i'm really happy with it (even if I've had to reflash the ARM controller since it crashed in an odd way).

Now, i'll wait to get a little money to update to 4MB :-)

BTW : I'm human, from France ;-)

This will be my first post here as well, although I've also passed the turing test already. :)

I used to be an Amiga activist back in the days. Started out with an A500 1990 and finished in 2002 with a maximized A3k/060. Had a couple of machines inbetween as well, including my A1200/060 which I recently found a place for in my home. First Amiga moment for 10 years!

A couple of days ago I found a good deal on a Minimig v1.1 with 4 MB RAM and an ARM board. So here I am, searching for a possible way to utilize it. Actually I have no idea, but I guess it's a matter of inspiration. :)

Oh, and I'm looking for a case of those neat white or black types. Please tell me if you have one for sale!

Minimig will work fine for OCS/ECS games and demos.
Also as a "workstation" at Turbo mode (close to A3000 68030@25MHz speed) and HDD support with at least Kick 2.05 (37.350). In this case WHDLoad will work fine too.

Most of all, its fun to use this very small Amiga-replica :)

Hallo to all,
this is my confirm posting...

I was one of the first AMIGA users in europe (started in 1985 with an 128KB NTSC A1000).
Since this time I was developing a bunch of AMIGA hardware as an freelancing hardware engineer (Realtimeframegrabber, Genlocks, Flickerfixers and Memoryexpansion and much more for some well know german companies of that time (1987-1995).

Wile starting with FPGAs in 1986/1987 and doing still consulting in coding and debugging and porting in vhdl and verilog, its now time to come back and try to freeze somewhat of the amiga feeling.

Best regards

Bergy

Hi humans! :D
I'm human too, and I would like to introduce myself: I'm Antiriad from south Italy, and I recently bought a magical Minimig 4Mb with PIC controller.

When I was young I never owned an Amiga (I was in the dark side of MS-DOS in the first decade of '90s), but I got to try one during a birthday party of a friend, and I was really fascinated (I remember distinctly that he played Moonstone!).

Many many years later I bought an Amiga 500+ not only for "collection" but to discover and learn this brilliant system, playing with Amiga DOS, ADF, real floppies, nullmodem cables and Transwarp. 8-)

Unfortunately the power supply got broken, but just in time I discovered the Minimig.
So here I am! ;)
