Is it possible to make a mod or core hack to avoid flickering in laced modes like 640x512?

Due to the Amiga hardware design interlace need a flicker-fixer to prevent flickering. If there was enough space left in the fpga, this could be implemented. Unfortunately this fpga is really filled up and can not take a whole 512 line hires screen buffer. This feature will only be present in upcoming Minimig generation (another bcb).

Removing R50 and R51 speeds up the sd card access

Is this really necessary?
Looking at R50, R51 they are tiny, I dont think I could attempt this mod without destroying my minimig
Is the hdf access speed not fast enough without this modification?

OK removing was not that right. One need to bridge R50 to R51 at the side showing to the S-RAM chips.
Still this is required for full SPI speed only! without mod sd-card data could be lost!
Without speed-up mod the SPI clock is set to 8MHz.
