Correct - or one could establish tcp connection over ppp and use ntpdate.

Huh, where my memory just gone...? ;)

Sure some more toys can be done with SPI and ARM but the fpga is pretty filles up and there is not much room left for further feature. Lets keep this idea and feature reserved for next generation of Minimig hardware.

Fair enough, but I want to get the minimig online somehow anyhow :)

Hi!

I successful added 2Mb of ram (yaqube - thanks for soldering tips!). As I wrote before, practically it was my smd soldering debut (I only did SPI mod before):

and finally I could clean up the mess and set up everything together:

Well done :!:
Please take a closer look at pin #20 upper-to-lower soldering of IC7. This looks a bit different like the others in this view.

Oh, that's so nice, I really envy your ... utterly clean and tidy table :lol:
Seriously though, very nice monitor/keyboard/mouse combo.

@kolla

Mess on this lovely, ikea table ;-) was cleaned up just to take a photo. Regarding combo - it's 4$ can of a red paint 8-) Really cool thing about a monitor is a fact that I builded inside an amp and 4 miniature logitech speakers.

misha, that`s a good-looking eqipment, especially the monitor (which runs "state of the art") is cool. now with a red minimig-case it would be perfect ;)
you should post that picture in the thread "how your minimig and equipment looks like"!
the black box at the right of the monitor is the receiver for the joypads or?

Thx AW72!
You are right - this black box is an IR receiver for quickshot joypads.

Rgs!
