Yes worms is a PAL 256 display line game.

At NTSC mode such and other title also may show graphics and speed problem or just dont work at all.

so this is the case. My tv supports only ntsc mode. When I setup minimig to pal I get a no signal error! Damn, I have to find a new monitor that can support also pal for the minimg. I still cannot believe that there are so many ( great ) pal-only games! I always thought that ntsc was the king!

When this TV has a Scart input, it could support PAL screen at 15KHz.

Only Americans think that. ;)

In the UK, NTSC was always known as "Never The Same Colour" due to the horrible "technicolour" primaries we used to see on imported TV shows. No wonder the aliens always killed the security officers in Star Trek - you could spot their glowing red shirts 10 miles away! :D

do you recommend any monitor for the best possible experience ? I am thinking of buying one since I am losing all the pal games!

From my experience a 4:3 Samsung SyncMaster is very recommendable.
Those screen mostly support 50Hz scanrate (to be sure, ask for or try out first). At least my own 940BF provide perfect 31KHz screen fit.
Only minor manual adjustment is required to get most smooth scrolling at LCD panel.

But I dont know newer/current LCD screen and manufacturer. I just buy a new one when its really necessary.

Check out wide screen Viewsonic monitors. They (mostly - check the specs!) sync to 50Hz (PAL). I use two myself. They're good quality and cheap.

One nice feature to look at is how the monitor switches between the Digital and Analog modes. I have a Viewsonic here that lets me plug in a VGA and DVI. To switch between them, you just press one button.

I have a new game possible game for the problems list.
Wasted Dreams its now legally available for free from http://www.amigafuture.de/downloads.php and list the required min spec as 2MB chip ram, 1MB Fast, OCS, 68000 CPU and a CD-drive.

It runs fine under WinUAE here with 68000CPU, 2MB chip, 1.5MB slow and OCS chipset running the game from a hardfile, but guru's on my 4MB Minimig with ARM on startup running from the same hardfile and 3.1 A600 rom.

Yep, same here.

Also, I have to mention that my ViewSonic VA2223wm dispalys PAL and NTSC modes on both the Minimig and FPGA Arcade quite nicely. The speakers may not be teh best in the world, but bang for buck you can't beat it.
