Is anyone planning on building completed boards, or are only blank PCB's available?

Links?

So far it seems that only blank PCBs are available, however the designer is willing to hand produce populated boards for those who want one, but the price and timeline is unclear as it is a one-man operation doing it in his spare time.

He has contacted Acube to check their interest on a production run and a member of Amiga.org who had sourced a production run of complete v1.1 boards before Acube made theirs has offered his contacts. Again, no definate response and no proce or timeline.

I think that ACube will be interested, like it did for MiniMig in the past.

I have bought several boards from Peter, and as funds become available for this project I will complete each one. I will keep one for myself and sell the rest.

To be honest, I'm not sure that they'll want to produce a 2.0 board if there are still unsold 1.1 boards on shelves. The market for 2.0 boards is going to be a lot smaller as not everyone who has a 1.1 will want to upgrade, plus there is the FPGA Arcade looming in the wings too.

I still think if someone like Amiga Inc got off their backsides and mass marketed the 2.0 to reduce the cost and bundled it with an SD card containing legal ROMs and games then it would be great gift for Christmas.

I'd love to see this board design (or perhaps a variant that attaches to illuvitar's mini-minimig) released for purchase. That it uses a standard PC form factor is excellent, since it means you can, of course, use standard PC cases for your Amiga, rather than using a bespoke case. I'd also like to see more board designers follow this trend.

Utilising as many standard PC components as possible is the way forward for the system. It was the expensive costs of bespoke hardware that dragged the Amiga down in the first place.

I have a pre assembled board which I plan to sell. It works like a charm.
It has the fast memory onboard (10nS ?)

New price was about 280 euros. It is in mint condition.
