Hi everybody,

is this forum death or do we all just take a summer/heat break?
If there is another forum or place to share Minimig experience, let me know please!

Minimig still is important to me.
I see no reason why this forum should quit, since there is a lot of information shared and still room for further discussion.

I still read this forum each day boing, and I hope that someone will do the two mice fix for me :-)

Also, perhaps some day someone local here can upgrade my minimig with two more mega bytes - I have the chips.

I reply to posts when I can help out, like with the member looking for an arm board, and other important posts like this one.

No, I'm not dead. And I'll stay here as long as it takes - LOL.

Thanks, I also look in here every day and Im happy to see any new posting (except spam ;)).
Perhaps there is little to report since current release is quite bug free. Only a very few are left and those also will be fixed, no doubt!

I may take a look at the mice function but this could take a while.

I also come here almost every day but no posts from me as I'm very busy with my studies. Instead of a summer break my university gave us a group project to design and implement a web site in ASP.net

I'd rather be playing on my minimig than programming ASP, but first work and then play.

I'm also frequent reader of this forum. Currently waiting for arrival of an ARM controller from Yaqube. I also plan ram memory upgrade soon - it will be my smd soldering debut ;-)

Please do some practice at other pcb before! An old sd-ram module with similar ram chips is a very good playground for such kind of soldering. Desolder one chip (flow), bend its legs down to 90° angle and piggyback it to another one.
If you manage to do this without any damage, bridges and all upper+lower pin in contact, Minimig is ready for your personal memory upgrade :)

PS: Dont spare with solder and heat, this will help a lot and those chips, legs and pads will survival.

I'm trying to make sure that the forum is nice and spam free... bringing the ban hammer to not only the spammers e-mail addresses, but also their whole ISP's. This has been mostly networks from africa, nigeria, and china. Don't they have anything better to do? Its pretty safe to say that there isn't many minimig / amiga users in those countries.
