Would it be possible to add a news feed for recent posts? This would make it so much more convenient, with alerts coming in regularly on the desktop. Hopefully this wouldn't be too much of a bandwidth hog.

It seems like there are a few different ones out there.

I was FTPing the whole site down last night and my FTP client died at about 40% complete. Just to be sure I had a full backup. I also made a SQL backup through administration.

I just don't want to "break" the forum with anything that I do which is too hasty. :roll:

As I get time I will try to get an RSS mod up and going.
